Edward J. Panfili, CFP®  "Ed" has been a financial services professional since 1979.  His financial services training has been varied and extensive with advanced training provided by affiliations with top quality companies.  Ed spent three years as an all-lines agent with the Farmers Insurance Group, where he received comprehensive home, automobile and business insurance training.   Being a captive casualty insurance agent severely restricted the services Ed was able to provide to his clients.  Feeling the need to be able to do more, he left the casualty insurance world in 1982.  Ed licensed with several life insurance companies and received extremely valuable advanced markets training related to estate and business planning.    During this same time period, Ed enrolled in the comprehensive education program offered through The College for Financial Planning.  Through this education, he discovered the future direction of his financial services career.   The program filled in the missing gaps.  Ed completed the program in 1984 and was awarded the prestigious Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1985. Ed formally registered with Investor's FAN in February 2012.

Margo Porter Panfili, CFP® - Advisor

Margo R. Porter Panfili, CFP® joined Panfili Financial Services, Inc. in 2007.  She graduated cum laude from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Margo passed the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Examination) in 2008.  She completed the College of Financial Planning CFP Certificate Professional Education Program in August of 2011 and passed the Certified Financial Planner board exam in November of 2011.  Margo received the full status of “Certified Financial Planner®” in May 2012. Margo works with clients on all facets of financial planning, tax planning, and assists in the research and review of our clients' investment portfolios.

Our Team

Sheryl joined Panfili Financial Services in the fall of 2015.  Hers is the voice you usually hear first when you call or the first face you see when you come through our door.  In addition to being our office administrator, Sheryl's responsibilities include client record management, scheduling, maintaining the calendar, and transcription of meeting notes. She has a rich history of office management. Sheryl  is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and a lifelong resident of the Puget Sound region. Her immediately family includes husband Bob, and two sons, Brendan & Jonathan.
